A little here..A little there.

So, it's been a good month!  My baby girl turned 8 monts yesterday!  Where does the time go?!  She is such a little diva and spoiled rotten and cute as ever!  Little Bean (nickname on her daddy's side) is quickly morphing into this little girl who is full of energy and full of life.  She never stops laughing and smiling.  Anyways, we went down to Bryan's parents beach house last weekend to get away for a couple of days...just to relieve some stresses of everyday life.  It was great!  Pres LOVED the sand, she wouldn't stop trying to eat it.  She sat on her little towel eating her snacks and loved every minute of it.  Needless to say, I love her more and more everyday.

8 months old!

Gosh, I have been so darn busy lately.  I feel like I never stop but I like it that way.  I have always been a person who enjoys being on-the-go..I am not a sit on the couch all day kinda person.  School is kicking my ass this quarter but I am doing great still.  My GPA is a 3.6 and I am getting so much more excited about finishing my degree now that I am closer.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel..even though I plan on going straight on through and completing my Masters degree.  I know the opportunities are endless for me but if I want to achieve goals, I have to do it for myself (as well as my family).  Today, was a day I felt proud of myself.  I mean I don't want to toot my own horn or anything (but I kinda do).  I have completed four years of the military (less that 2% of the population will ever do that)  I have an Applied Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and now here I am less that a year away from completing my Bachelors Degree.  Not to mention, I have an amazing husband and precious baby girl.  As many times lately as I have gotten frustrated with life, I really should count my blessings.  I am also very proud of Bry too.  He is almost done with his degree as well and he mentioned to me a couple of days ago that he wanted to go for his Doctorate.  I will support him in whatever he chooses.  I am so proud of the both of us.

In the midst of the hussle and bussle, I think I have successfully managed to get Pres sleep-trained :)  We are about 2 weeks in and she goes to bed around the same time everynight.  She can hardly keep her eyes open and goes right into her crib (with her classical music on of course b/c she will be smarter that way)!  She hasn't been waking up until early in the morning and I must say it is soo NICE!  I LOVE it!  Hopefully, it continues to go good from here on out :)

Easter is right around the corner..my friend is coming over on Sat with her little girl and we are going to have a Easter party..yes just us!  We're going to do some baking (my fave) and color some Easter eggs...I think it should be fun.  I will take lots of pictures ( you know me)!  I think this year for Easter we are going to head to the beach and spend the day.  Sounds like a perfect way to spend Easter to me :)
