fam (ILY) :)

So this past weekend was a good one.  We went back to my home (Stockbridge) to visit my fam for the day.  It was so nice :)  My papa and grandpa boochie both have really been wanting to see Pres but it is a hard drive here for them since they are a little older and Boochie can't sit in a tight space for long so I decided last minute that we would drive up for the day and a night.  Papa and Janet just love Presley.  Might I add Presley really is such a sweet little girl.  I am not just saying this because she is my daughter but she has such a sweet and gentle disposition.  She is such a mommy's girl but she was so happy to see everyone.  She is always the center of attention no matter where we go so I know she loves it!  It was so nice to see my family (the ones who showed up) and do some catching up :)  Papa and Janet made us a big breakfast and  let me say it was amazing like always.  Nothing better to get you going than some homeade biscuits and homeade preserves and southern sweet tea!  I think I just gained 2lbs writing that sentence (LOL).  When we went over to Boochie's the first thing he asked was how did I get her hair in pigtails?!  LOL I just simply took the hairband off and showed him it was fake!  He started chuckling..I love Boochie boo!  It was so sweet to watch him hold her and kiss her..I remember being so small and making Boochie play school with me and I would make him say the Pledge over and over again!  Oh such fond memories of such wonderful grandparents.  I would give the world for Muvie to see Presley..I know Presley would love her to death.  It is definitely peace of mind knowing that Presley has a special angel in Heaven watching over her :)
So on top of the good food and nice visit with everyone mama took me out Saturday evening and we got an amazing pedi.  It was the works!  We had a mud mask on our legs, hot rocks between our toes, hot towels on our legs..and I can't forget the amazing massage chair.  It better have been a good pedi considering it costed my mom $90!!  Yes, $90 bucks but it was well worth it!!  Her excuse was we don't get together that often..now I have to think of a creative way to convince my hubby, I have to keep it up..meaning my cutely decorated toes..when I was pregnant my excuse was that my feet were always hurting (they never did..but he believed me ;))  Now, I don't have an excuse LOL!  All in all, it was such a wonderful weekend with my family.  Can't beat a good visit and good food all weekend :) 
On a different note I think I am getting a little sad that Pres is getting older..I know I know she is only 7 months old!  (Am I crazy?))  Yes, maybe a little..I seriously want another baby soon..my goal is to finish school first but I don't want my babies to be too far apart..I want them to be no more than 2 or 2 in a half years apart..we shall see what the future holds for us :)  For now, I will embrace every moment that God gives me to be with my sweet girl and enjoy because at this moment I am well aware that time is flying too fast.
